On Wednesday 5th March 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming the High Sheriff of the West Midlands, Mark Smith, to Walsall Community Association to present two High Sheriff Awards to the volunteers who work tirelessly in the Walsall Community Association Kitchen each week.
The awards were in recognition of the great and valuable services and outstanding contributions that the Walsall Community Association kitchen staff provide to the community every week.
The awards went to Yvonne Vassell and Andrea Walker, Petrona Reid-Blake, Blue and Louie Robinson.
We would like to thank the High Sheriff of the West Midlands for presenting these awards and we would like to congratulate our kitchen staff for receiving these awards.
